Cornelia A. Kane

Business Manager / HR Director

Cornelia A. Kane has a track record of more than a decade launching and scaling successful startups in highly regulated industries, with experience advising high-growth clients in the cannabis industry, music business, and nonprofit space on HR best practices and business strategies. She is passionate about supporting and empowering employees with the tools and resources to perform at their highest level, and changing the world by providing safe access to health and wellness for all. Ms. Kane has been the first HR Director at several well-known organizations, and is committed to working exclusively with innovative companies that put their clients and stakeholders first.

Prior to joining DJR García, Ms. Kane worked as the founding HR Director of a state-of-the-art vertically integrated cannabis CPG facility with a 12-acre campus in Sacramento, supporting the organization’s growth to over 300 employees in under two years. She was also the founding HR Director of the world-renowned global hemp CBD brand Charlotte’s Web, the first HR Director for Athletes For C.A.R.E., a nonprofit building community and advocating for alternative therapies for current and former pro athletes, and during her time in the music industry she was the founding General Manager of the boutique artist management firm 7S Management in Denver, Colorado.
